Cardcaptor Sakura( The Clow Book)

This is my favorite cartoon series, since I went here. The first time I see these episodes, am amazingly fun, and lots of morals.

This is all about the characters. Let’s know them first.

Hi I am Sakura means Cherry Blossom in Japanese, which also happens to my favorite flower.
You know me as a normal ten year old fourth grader by day.My best subject is at School is Phys Ed (name a sport I can’t do but outside of school, a way more exciting life…..as a Cardcaptor.

“Key of Clow! Power of magic
Power of Light
Surrender the wand
The force Ignite!
Release………!

That’s the incantation I use to turn to the magic key- which I wear as pendant necklace on my neck- into the sealing wand.
The sealing wand is the only thing I can use to turn the Clow cards back to their state.

It’s also got pretty amazing powers of its own, but more on that later….
I live with my Dad, who’s an archeologist, and my older brother Tori, who lives to tease and torment me. You know how big brothers are.
My mother passed away when I was a baby. I miss her, but I know she’s always with me, somehow.
You see, I have this dream…but more on that later, too.

I have lots of friends, but there’s one guy I wish would pay more attention to me: my brother’s best buddy, Julian. Every morning, I time my trip to school so I can run him ‘by chance’. The only problem is, when he’s around I can’t think of anything to say! I just end up blushing a lot and wishing I lived under some rock. If only he knew the kind of adventures I got into with the Clow Cards!
About Sakura Avalon
Her things she uses.

THE SEALING WAND
The Sealing Wand is the scepter used to channel magic by the Cardcaptor. Sakura uses it to force the power of the unleashed Clow Cards back into their benign card forms.

Typically, when it is used by Sakura, she utters a phrase along the lines of I command you to return to your rightful form! Magic can also be used on the Wand itself to change its function and form. For example, when Sakura uses
The Fly card on the Sealing Wand, wings sprout from its head, allowing Sakura to fly on the Wand like a witch on a broomstick.

THE CLOW KEY
Sakura wears a key around her neck. It is shaped like the head of the Sealing Wand, and upon command it grows into the wand itself,. The key is also used to unlock the Clow Book.

Li Showron
Hi I am Li Showron. I’m ten but I am well beyond my years: serious, determined and focused. After all, I come from a long line of magicians. I am a direct descendant of Clow Reed himself, the ancient creator of the powerful Clow Cards. I bear the burden of knowledge most kids couldn’t handle. Clow Reed’s magic, including his spells and incantations, were taught to me from the time I was very young. They are not powers to be dealt with lightly.

Source of Light
With ancient spin
Send forth the magic
Power within!
Force, know my plight!
Release the light!
So you see Sakura’s not the only one who can make incantations. I use them to cast magical spells, and control element forces such s fire, wind and lighting. My Lasin Board is an important magical tool that only I have. It allows me to perform many different tasks, like pinpoint the location of a Clow Card from far away.
Sakura and I used to be at war trying to capture the Clow Cards, but now we mostly work together. Mostly.
ABOUT THE THINGS HE USED.

LASIN BOARD
Li’s Lasin Board is the device which first alerted him to the Clow Cards’ release when he used it during a fortune telling. The Lasin Board is Li’s most useful magic tool, allowing him to perform many different tasks.
The Board can be used to pinpoint the location of a Clow Card from a good distance away. When used in this manner, the Board emits a thin, blue, laser-like beam that aims directly toward the nearest Clow Card’s location.

KERO
Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Keroberos, but everyone just calls me Kero. I’m a lot of fun, and I’m your basic, garden variety, magical beast. I’ve been Guardian of the powerful Clow Cards for the thousands of years, so I’m street smart, wise, and incredibly cute ( if I do say so myself).
But down to serious business.

I tell you, take a thirty-year nap and all mayhem breaks loose. I’m in the middle of the best yawn of my life when I discover this Sakura girl has unleashed the Clow Cards Upon the world. No more napping for me.

Ancient Cards of Clow
Give me Vision Now.

That’s my incantation. I used it when I taught Sakura about the Clow Cards. They’re a bit like those Tarot cards used in fortune-telling, but they have a mind of their own, and there’s nothing else on earth like them.
I may be silly and mischievous, but I’m not all fun and games. After all, Sakura and I have a hard road ahead of us to capture all the cards-but I know how to have fun when there’s a chance. And believe me, there are plenty of chances. I live in Sakura’s desk drawer in a miniature room of my own, and my favorite pastimes
Are eating (anything sweet will do), playing video games, and of course, sleeping. The only ones who know I exist are Sakura, Li and Madison. Sakura’s brother Tori doesn’t know about me…..yet. He suspects something, poor guy, but can’t quite put his finger on it.
This is not my original form:
I’ll emerge into my proper shape once Sakura has collected the Earth and Fire cards, from which my power is derived. But who knows when that will be!
KEROBEROS
Hello, I’m Kero in my Beast form

MADISON TAYLOR
I’m Sakura’s best friend, and her biggest fan. I live with my mother, the president of a successful toy company. The up side is that my mother brings home new toys for me to test out with Sakura and Kero. My favorite, of course is the cell phone, which comes in handy when we’re on the trail of Clow Card. The down side of my Mother’s wealth is that I’m frequently surrounded by annoying bodyguards.
I’m huge into visual art. I design and create all of Sakura’s battle costumes- the wilder the better! And my favorite hobby is videotaping Sakura’s adventures. Who know, maybe I’ll be a famous filmmaker one day!
When I’m not drawing or taping, I’m performing with the school choir.
Kero’s certain I possess no magical powers, but he doesn’t know everything.
Between you and me, I often suspect the presence of a Clow Card before even Sakura can detect it. Go figure. Maybe there’s something magical about me, too.
TORI AVALON

I’m Sakura’s brother. I’m in Grade 11, which means I’m pretty busy with my studies, after school jobs, and my favorite sport, soccer! But that doesn’t mean I don’t have responsibilities at home, too. Sakura’s one of them, even if she won’t admit it. Sure, I like to tease her now and then, but I’m also protective of my little sister.
She seems to have a real nose for trouble, and I’m just one step away from figuring out what it is!
This is my sound crazy, but I possess supernatural ability: I can see ghost. Sometimes, I even see an apparition of our mother, Natasha. She comes around from time to time to check in on us. I cherish those visits. When Sakura was younger, I’d tell her about the wondrous spirits I saw. Unfortunately, I think it had a reverse effect on her, because now she seems to have an intense fear of ghosts. I don’t fear them, though. I’m not afraid of anything.
JULIAN STAR
I’m Tory’s best friend. I live with my grandparents, and try my best at sports and school. I do pretty well. In fact, I’ve been called a brainer, but all it is hard work. I take pains to be kind to everyone I meet, although sometimes I’m too shy to say anything.
Tori and I spend a lot of time together, studying, hanging out, and eating. I’m always hungry. If I’m not actually eating, I’m thinking about eating. ( Come to mention it, got a snack?) Tori’s sister Sakura is okay, but weird. She can’t seem to put a sentence together when I’m around. It doesn’t matter how nice I am! I just don’t get it.

YUE
Hello, I’m Yue…
MEILIN RAE
Hi there! I’m Meilin, and I’m a transfer student. I’ve come to help my friend Li search for the Clow Cards, but that’s top secret.
I don’t possess magical powers like Li or Sakura, but I have number of useful skills: I’m excellent at gymnastics, sprinting, and the martial arts. And I’m determined.
My one failing is, and don’t tell anyone, I have a huge crush on Li. I feel like other girls, especially Sakura, are out to steal him. And what with all of Sakura’s magical powers, she comes off as pretty impressive competition. So I’m always trying to be better than her. I wish I didn’t feel that way, but I do.

Back to Basics Heels??

Have you ever had the experience of going to a party, spotting a killer heel—I mean a really top notch, timeless shoe—and asking it’s owner where you can pick up your own pair, only to be informed that it is from another season and no longer sold in stores? I suspect you have—because we all have—and in response to this dilemma, Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon has come up with a brilliant idea. She has taken all of her brand’s greatest hits and compiled them into one superstar collection: Jimmy Choo 24:7, a line that is both wide-ranging (styles from platforms to stilettos to pumps) and so tightly edited you’ll never get sick of a single silhouette—even the ones with flourishes like gold zippers and champagne-hued patent leather. These wear-around-the-clock beauties that have been launched alongside the spring/summer collection and are all but guaranteed to fly off shelves. Mellon, who handpicked the styles herself, says of the line, “It’s the perfect shoe wardrobe to take the modern woman from day to evening with heel options for every occasion. With today’s trends featuring so many design extremes, we aim to fulfill the need for versatile, modern basics.”
When I saw this shoe line in the magazine..it's like oh so wow..I didn't know before that how famous is this...afterAll creation of Jimmy Choo..is very Beautiful....-----Zhian-----

थे Bags

Although nowadays women, either for work or for their routine duties, tend to spend hours and hours of their daily life away from home, it’s not always true that a roomy and comfortable bag is the perfect answer to their needs!! Market research, in fact, has recently identified a new trend in demand for handbags that is now occurring, and a new “pochette mania” is starting to sweep the fashion world.
Call it a “clutch” or call it a “pochette”, it makes no difference, since the final result is the same: we are talking about those micro-bags which are now really taking over the scene. Small, exquisite and chic, the pochette-bag has, of course, always played an important role in our life, being used as a decorative extension of our pockets on all those occasions where big bags, however beloved, are inappropriate!!
In fact, bags are no longer seen just as containers to store the things that we need: on the contrary, they have become a vital accessory to give the wearer, a sophisticated and glamorous image. It doesn’t matter that they are small, just large enough to slip in a lipstick or a credit card and keys: what really counts is that they perfectly match our dresses and that they are appropriate for nights characterized by luxury and worldliness, so that we can feel really special.
Loving your “pochette” means that you are ready to sacrifice capacity for lightness, practicality for highly fashionable style: beauty and comfort don’t always go hand in hand, and, for this reason, this accessory, over the years, has lost its original function, becoming a typical feminine habit.
Symbol of the modern and independent woman, free from the usual clichés driven by a masculine society, the name “pochette” has its origins in France during the 18th century, when pockets (poches, in French) were not sewed onto women’s dresses but were substituted by small bags, generally made of leather or fabric, that women used to hang around their waist. However, the real success of this accessory arose between the 1920s and 1930s, an important historical period of huge change, which heralded a real revolution in women’s dress. At the end of the First World War, women, who had started working in factories while the men were away at the front, became aware of opportunities for more freedom and practicality in their dress. No more Victorian corsets but light and snug dresses; no more hair confined in rigid buns but short and impish crops. It was the period of the so called “Flappers”: young women who didn’t accept the conventions of the time and criticized the older generation while flaunting their own youth. Women now loved to drive, smoke and drink in public, took no notice of disapproving looks and cheerfully disregarded the rumors provoked by their scandalous habits. Becoming more aware of her own feminine strength, this new image of woman would no longer stand male violence or being considered inferior and constantly dominated by men.
This feminine revolution has created new fashion legends and icons: cosmetics, rayon, silk, cigarettes, and, of course, the icon of the “pochette”. These new usages affected both history and industry, and, despite the years that have since gone by, these micro-bags are invading the market once more, showing themselves as fresh as ever, not aged at all!! After all, it is well known how, in the fashion world, past trends always comes back in: especially during this delicate period of social balance, when men are suffering from excessive female independence and total liberalization of customs, the “pochette” becomes a must, an accesso and fashio ry which no woman’s wardrobe is complete without.
The most famous designers n houses are responding to this new need, by creating new designs, and competing with one another in the name of originality, without forgetting to pay attention to the details. From a symbol of emancipation to a fashion choice, it is possible to find a great variety of pochettes on the market: made of velvet or luxury exotic leather, with rhinestones or precious gems attached to them, showing the most innovative and modern shapes, they are seen as amazing jewels which perfectly match the dress of your dreams, and will enhance the most elegant outfit.
A completely feminine accessory and an extraordinary object of desire which will be a firm fixture on the catwalks and in shop windows for a long while!!
